It is the most expensive video game ever made.
A member of the Rockstar community and YouTuber has made a big estimate regarding the numbers GTA 6 cost.
Saukko505 knows that GTA 6’s budget, based on publicly available information, is hurting Take-Two £ 2.78 billion or $3.68 billion.
After adding his personal estimate to what is not publicly available, he believes the total budget is somewhere between $3,440,000,000 to $5,108,598,041.36.
He shared this explanation on Twitter:
Let me Clarify a Few Things about GTA 6’s budget.
According to the Financial report from R* UK ltd. they have spent/will spend over £2.7 billion on staff and other expenses in the 2020 fiscal year up to the launch of GTA6
£2.7B still doesn’t include some expenses such as marketing and licensing…
…and other expenses outside the UK such as pension and insurance payments in the US and India.
So taking all costs into account, I estimate that minimum operating costs from the start of fiscal year 2020 to the release of GTA 6 will be at least $3.4 billion.
It would go on the list of the most expensive video games ever made. If you want to learn more about Saukko505 accounting, you can watch the video below.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
